Five Quarts: Reader's Response Journal

The author uses a historical perpective to discuss blood and the scientific advances that have occured in relation to understanding blood and our bodies in general.  Write an overview of about 4-5 different developments or advances that science has made on the subject of blood or hematology (the study of blood).
