“What’s Your Type?”

Blood type is an important piece of medical data that is necessary should you be faced with an emergency that puts your life in danger.  Despite this fact many people do not know their own blood type.  Work with other team members to conduct a survey of people in your community and their knowledge of personal blood type.  You may also want to find out what other knowledge that your survey participants have about the science of blood as it relates to their anatomy and overall health.

·      Research your own personal blood type by speaking to parents and guardians.
·      Collaborate with 4-5 other classmates to determine what group you will survey.
·      Design your research questions and submit a draft to me for review.
·      Conduct your survey and collect the data.
·      Decide on a format to present both your quantitative (numbers) and qualitative (other interesting findings) data. There must be a written part to your presentation that provides explanations of the data.
·      Present your findings to your teachers and peers.
